Two hundred and twenty years ago monks from Valaam brought Orthodoxy to Alaska. In celebration of this anniversary the choir of St. Tikhon Orthodox Church in Alaska, under the direction of Matushka Vera, has recorded the Akathist Service to St. Herman. Their beautiful and reverent rendition displays the spirit and depth of Orthodoxy for you to enjoy and pray with.
