We had the immense blessing of having the miracle-working Kursk Root icon in our presence during a Divine Liturgy service on Thursday. The peace the Mother of God brings is incredible. May she intercede for and save us all.

The Miracle-working Kursk Root icon, under which St. Seraphim of Sarov was healed, and countless others, will be visiting us.  On Wednesday November 18/December 1 (this Wednesday), the icon will be at Saint Herman of Alaska Orthodox Church for a 6:30 p.m. Akathist. On Thursday morning, Divine Liturgy will be served in the presence of her at the monastery at 7 a.m.
